Prijevodi poezije Hafiza Širazija na zapadnom Balkanu

Predmet ovoga članka jesu dosad objavljeni prijevodi poezije klasičnog perzijskog pjesnika Hafiza Širazija (XIV st.) na geografskom prostor zapadnoga Balkana. Istraživanje pripada oblasti studija prevođenja, s posebnim naglaskom ponovljene i posredne prijevode. Prvi prijevod iz pera Jovana Jovanovića Zmaja objavljen je 1861. godine predstavlja najraniji jednog teksta južnoslavenske jezike. Ukupno devet prijevoda objavljivanih u Bosni Hercegovini, Srbiji Hrvatskoj podijeljeno dva kraća perioda: prvi krajem XIX početkom XX stoljeća drugi XXI stoljeća. Svaki od različita povijesna trenutka, omeđena dominatnim kulturnim narativima, donio novo čitanje, novu vrijednost Hafizovoj poeziji ciljnoj kulturi. U prvom periodu Hafiz Širazi predstavljen kao hedonist vinopija, dok su prevoditelji početka prepoznavali dublji smisao mistički, odnosno gnostički sadržaj njegovoj poeziji. Prema tome, svi imali snažan evaluativni aspekt. Svega integralni, a ostali izbori ili adaptacije pojedinih dijelova izvornika. Prevoditelji prevodili perzijskog, njemačkog engleskog jezika. Zahvaljujući raznovrsnim pristupima prevoditeljâ, poezija očuvala učvrstila kanonski status među starim novim recipijentima zapadnom Balkanu što ga još osmanskom stekla obrazovanom muslimanskom elitom.
